Book of the Prophet ISAIAH: Context chapters 1-11: God sends the true prophet to the leaders of God’s own people telling them that HE is waiting, willing, and ready to release his “yoke destroying power” (Isaiah 10:27) which will make “their neck so thick that no fierce warrior (Assyrian nation) can overtake them, wipe them out.”
HOWEVER, Chapters 1-11 state, that due to God’s own leader’s following false little g’s gods, false religion, simpering pride, vanity, all of which were UNHOLY HUMAN MIXTURE….that GOD’S VERY OWN PEOPLE, his LEADERS, were standing in His WAY..and inadvertently TYING HIS HANDS: blocking the full release of His MIRACLE WORKING, PRESERVING, PROTECTING, SUPERNATURAL YOKE DESTROYING POWER.
