BIG ADVENTURES IN WELLNESS

A LIFE BACKSTORY..FOR 5 DFW BLISSFUL ONGOING YEARS I was a majorly blessed and contented and happy member of a wellness club( Back then Cooper Fitness, Craigs Ranch McKinney,..which was founded by a medical doctor  Dr Kenneth Cooper invented aerobics, (which in fact changed my entire pre aerobics very sedentary prone writing, life yet FYI it all began on the EAST COAST prior to DFW)… Furthermore, Dr Cooper is a born again Christian and thus I honor him by calling (getting close to very late yet active 80’s)wise, James 3:17 EORR loving scientific fruited .non elite HIM as “The Apostle Of Aerobics” (and I am just one of his many offspring). (PS as a Christ follower, spiritual trailblazer, by God commissioned Original work planter, aka chief apostle..God always uses Organic Originals in Christian ministry, other fields to INSPIRE and keep me motivated) Hence I  always enjoy when share about all of this..as I understand creativity and the “something being formed out of NOTHING mentality” (wise mostly uncertain big Adventure(s)
FOLLOWING GOD’S IMPRESSING ME TO..I had started wellness active prevention(along with enlisting Bible faith, doing what is right in the natural) and up until NOW I have been PRE COVID working out from the times of starter HIGH IMPACT AEROBICS( while living in the Central VA area) then it went to LOW IMPACT, STEP and KICKBOXING and then adding weight to many types and styles but for the musician and highly syncopated majorly RHYTHMIC me, I loved the dance ZUMBA..which is where I then departed DFW during the Covid Shut down and have a temporary knee rather big issue, but must first try PRAYER, resuming a normal workout pattern, shedding the many current extra pounds.
SO WHAT I AM SHARING is for ME..but letting YOU in on it. I must FIRST get under conviction to not just WRITE about it but to ongoing DO IT, one day in and one day out.
1. SELF EVALUATE AND ASSESS YET DO NOT SELF ACCUSE.
2. WALK, GO TO A GYM, AND/OR FIND A FITNESS APP: Last night I downloaded an INTERMITTENT FASTING one last .FREE.. which has a continual countdown, water reminder ..
3. TAKE PRO ACTION…WALKERS?  10,000 STEPS a DAY is what one AIMS FOR and their are apps, personal fitness counters, to keep track of
4. CHOOSE TO BE PRO ACTIVE, actively shake it, stretch it…and/or pump it,walk it, take aqua aerobics, ..now matter WHAT… really move it or else down the lonely road..you just may LOSE IT (which is WHY for 35 faithful years I actually MISS not being on a quality schedule.for by God’s grace I tried to prepare for AGING by PREPARATION starting about 27-28 when I had my first born.

FOR TODAY A SUPER HEALTHY RECIPE:  The Steven Sandwich ..
Invented by a Cooper Fitness fellow..gym club member  Mr. Steven, who came up with original idea after trying to lose weight. He first went to Subway but the modified and added to it.
AND, when we asked him to pose for a PICTURE, in all self effacing inventor modesty, Mr. Steven wished to potentially avoid going VIRAL!

DRUMROLL…today we present

THE STEVEN SANDWICH

2 Slices toasted whole wheat bread
1 grated cheddar cheese
optional: grated parmesan
1  grilled boneless chicken breast
1 pinch of fresh minced spinach
1/2 cup shredded cheddar
1 spoonful of diced broccoli
1 spoonful diced squash
1 spoonful of diced carrots
1 spoonful of diced jalapeño
1 spoonful of diced mushroom
1 spoonful of diced bell pepper
1 spoonful of minced black beans
 sliced dill pickles
sliced red onion
  1. TOAST the buttered bread on the GRILL or frying pan
  2. Heat grilled chicken breast briefly on pan or in micro (do not nuke too long, it makes it tough)
  3. MELT CHEESE and all veggies EXCEPT lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle
  4. PUT MELTED CHEESE and VEGGIES on top of the chicken breast
  5. Then put LETTUCE, PICKLE, ONION and TOMATO on top of all the other ingredients
TAKE SANDWICH and put entire sandwich in microwave to melt cheese (industrial microwave 40)
GOD BLESS. AND SEEK THE LORD IN ORDER PREPARE…CHOOSE TO FIND WAYS TO MAINTAIN WELLNESS… IN A PRO ACTIVE as well as  PREVENTIVE  FAMILY METHOD..
MINI SPIRITUAL ASIDE…Natural and Supernatural are BOTH always NOW NEEDED.. (healing Scriptures, pre study healing passages in order to renew YOUR mind EVEN WHEN YOU ARE WELL..so that if attack comes…it will help YOU resist, and also it will make YOU ready to PRAY IN FAITH for sick ministry, family, area persons.
