THE ENTIRE CHAPTER 1 OF BOOK OF JEREMIAH now follows
KJV BIBLE VERSION:

1. “The words of JEREMIAH the son of Hilkiah, of the priestly office ministry that were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin:”

I.E. JEREMIAH MINISTRY FIELD RELATIONSHIPS: part of the God called priests in that Old Testament Patriarch (aka Band ‘O the Brethren) Times

2 “To whom the word of the Lord came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign.”

I.E. GOD’S RELATIONSHIP with His young servant in a leadership calling

3 “It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month.”

I.E. ALL MENTIONED JEREMIAH “ALL ABOUT A COMMUNITY” RELATIONSHIPS: All of the Local Players in the HEBREW GOVERNMENTAL REALMS OF INFLUENCERS: the KING, a nameless tribal band who carries aways an enormous portion of God’s human people (probably including MANY father, mothers, children)

4 “Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,”

I.E. THE LIVING LORD and JEREMIAH had a “discerned, perceived, abiding overseer, watcher, divine ministry ORACLE RELATIONSHIP”

5 “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”

I.E. BEFORE JEREMIAH BEGAN his abiding relationship with GOD, the CREATOR, FATHER, LIVING LORD has already made great PLANS for him, had a CALLING FOR HIM and a GREAT VISION for the young wise ministers FUTURE DESTINY.**

** (MEANING …should he decide to fully ACCEPT, and YIELD to that God call)…See as followings:

6 “Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.”

I.E. GOD has a RELATIONSHIP which evidently COMMUNICATES DIRECTION to JEREMIAH and called into PROPHETIC OFFICE (SOLO) MINISTRY, Chosen Jeremiah NOW HAS TO MAKE A BIG PERSONAL MINISTRY /LIFE CHOICE. And JEREMIAH tries to argue with the Lord about his own (inwardly self perceived (SELF RELATIONSHIP) able READINESS.

7 “But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.”

I.E. HOWEVER, GOD (through both of their abiding RELATIONSHIP) conveys to JEREMIAH that no matter how unworthy JEREMIAH misperceives himself (SELF TALK)..that OVER SEER FATHER MOST HIGH LORD GOD sees higher, farther, and a whole lot BIGGER..and has the last say on these matters…thus God gives a correction to minister JEREMIAH .

8 “Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord.”
(BIG ASIDE: Taveau would also point that this is APPLIED FAITH “Walking by /”applying” your own Faith means we are not to be MOVED by any of our 5 senses: what we SEE, HEAR, FEEL, etc…but ONLY by what we clearly DISCERN to be the INWARD WITNESS of God’s Holy Spirit /balanced on the authority of God’s Holy Bible Word)

I.E. ALL JEREMIAH RELATIONSHIPS:
FIRST the possibility that when JEREMIAH looks within his own heart, his self talk may find ABJECT FEAR of difficult, different appearing HUMANS..

SECOND: the GOD RELATIONSHIP commands for JEREMIAH to RISE UP and MAN UP and NOT HAVE ANY FEAR

NOTE: This is the true ALL ABOUT AN AREA RELATIONSHIP FIELD where the PROPHET JEREMIAH would eventually “walk about ” in the office prophets local, regional, national, home town relationships… WHERE he would directly meet, encounter MANY SINGLE, DIFFERENT STYLES GROUPS, and various TYPES OF OTHERS)…and to some of these who appeared FIERCE or ANGRY…(realistically) the young minister JEREMIAH would easily be tempted to cave in..so as NOT to deliver GOD’S ORACLE MESSAGE. WHY? Being AFRAID of what /who the differing RELATIONSHIPS all APPEARED to DO, to BE and to want to DO UNTO the PROPHET HIM..(resembles: ABJECT HUMAN PLEASING, FEAR OF MAN….PSALM 29:25 “The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.”

9 “Then the Lord put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.”

I.E.ABIDING RELATIONSHIP: God directly communicates to the anxious leader JEREMIAH that HE will uphold him and be their with and for him throughout.

10 “See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.”

I.E. BIG RELATIONSHIP: (This is AUTHORITY based on OBEDIENCE to whatever the LORD said) ABIDING ONGOING RELATIONSHIP is in this example: SPIRITUAL NON CONTROLLING, PERCEPTIVE ongoing ORACLE MINISRY OFFICE, APPLIED FAITH, INTERCESSION and DELIVERANCE GOD- AUTHORITY which JEREMIAH could submit to /yield to, abide in/under or CHOSE NOT TO.

11 “Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.”

I.E. The Moving, Living God directly communicates with JEREMIAH in the RELATIONSHIP once again.

12 “Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.”

I.E. GOD RELATES the communicaed WORD to the young national prophet..and the young national prophet readily accepts it, receives it as BEING SENT FROM THE LORD.

13 “And the word of the Lord came unto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething pot; and the face thereof is toward the north”

I.E. The inner (might have been audible) SPIRITUAL FORM OF DIRECT COMMUNICATION comes from GOD within his RELATIONSHIP with JEREMIAH.

14 “Then the Lord said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.”

I.E. AGAIN GOD directly communicates via RELATIONSHIP

15 “For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the Lord; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.”

I.E. God communicates what HE is going to accomplisah throughout all of this, via abiding RELATIONSHIP

16 “And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.”

I.E. GOD mentions HIS RELATIONSHIP with the rebellious persons who have turned away from serving only Him and who now follow after many false “little g” gods..as well as worship many false idols

17 “Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.”

I.E. GOD via God-Man RELATIONSHIP instructs JEREMIAH but also reminds him once more (writer’s paraphrase)”DO NOT BE ABJECTLY AFRAID OF THE MANY ANGRY, UPSET MINISTER, OTHER ARROGANT HUMAN, LEADER, FOLLOWER RELATIONSHIPS

18 “For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, and against the people of the land.”

I.E. God kindly reassures his true office genuine PROPHET that HE will always protect HIM even if HE (Jeremiah) is surrounded by RELATIONSHIPS which despise, detest and may try to discredit, unjustly accuse or even TURN MANY PEOPLE against HIM, try to ABUSE,HARM him. **

**THINK of the PRESSURE of having ONE LONE MINISTER being accused, targeted, having bigotry and threats by1 1)The King (s) 2) Royal Princes (Ruling Elders) 3) nearly ALL OF THE PEOPLE in the entire NATION, LAND

19 “And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the Lord, to deliver thee.”

I.E. TENSION CITY ACCUSER RELATIONSHIPS and ORACLE OFFICE JEREMIAH: who are THEY? It actually does not MATTER for it could me FEW or a great recurring MIGHTY MANY..yet the one thing that JEREMIAH can always REST ASSURED IN is what is said at the end of verse 19 “THE LORD DIRECTLY COMMUNICATES (via abiding RELATIONSHIP)..that HE is there WITH HIM..to faithfully (even repeatedly, responsibly…)DELIVER HIM!!

WE MAY CONCLUDE: THAT IS WITHIN ABIDING RELATIONSHIP we PERCEIVER NOTICE, DISCERN and PERCEPTIVELY SEE all of GOD’S ABIDING GOODNESS!
