“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,neither has entered into the heart of any man, those things which the Lord has prepared for those who love Him, BUT those things are revealed by the spirit,for the spirit searches all things,yea,even the deep things of God.” I Corinthians 2:9-10

REVIEW: PART 1 The Opening: We discussed briefly the announcement of the birth of John the Baptist in Luke 1:17. I noted how I have repeatedly heard this verse preached in regard to “revival” and “miracles, signs and wonders.”

And while I do certainly AGREE with that, TAVEAU CREATIVE LEADERSHIP (TCL) AND DFW LEADER MINISTRY FELLOWSIHP (DFW LOF) will also discuss how EFFECTIVE WHOLE, ONGOING HEALTHY MATURE, APOSTOLIC MINISTRY and NATURAL RELATIONSHIPS will greatly affect and HASTEN the purely ORGANIC REVIVAL overall big process.

SILENT WORLD SHAKING EPIC RADICAL ENDURING BIG CHANGE

The event of John the Baptist’s birth signaled EPIC supernatural, EVERLASTING yet invisible change.

That big CHANGE was one of both natural thinking world as well as worldly kingdom shaking ORDER. IT was about to over the back then corrupt, deeply widespread,adulterous legalistic system.

This System was made up of the hireling temple high priest hood,who no longer descendants of the high priestly lineage of Jacob, but were descendants of Esau, as was King Herod of that time.

NOTE: This EPIC APOSTOLIC TIME PERIOD of worldwide, ETERNAL CHANGE came directly following the 400 silent years between the (somber warning) word for the high priests in the short book of Malachi and the start of the New Testament: Jesus time.

Thus whenever we read the Bible accounts of Jesus being Pharisee watched and spied on from afar,rumored about and plotted against, we duly note that these were the Religious Tough Unyielding (meaning dull of deep discernment and devoid of accurate pure leader PERCEPTION)

(The writer also draws a ministry comparison to the Compassion Fatigued equally dull and imperceptive Eli High Priesthood of I Samuel as well as the Revelation 2:1-7 New Testament over busy, many good religious deeds performing, once wonderful, church of the Lampstand of Ephesians) A LOT MORE ABOUT THAT at another appointed time.

THE LONG AWAITED MESSIAH, JESUS, FINALLY COMES

Right at the beginning of the New Testament, and included in each of the Gospels, we find the announcement story of the Baby Jesus.
We note that His birth comes following the birth of his cousin,who would later be well known as JOHN THE BAPTIST.

And,in the tight knit, ancient period of Time, where all trade roots and spiritual religious, eternal REALMS collided, (and where they continue to do so today), we find, very SMALL, very SIMPLY and very very QUIETLY that two obscure Holy Spirit conceived infants are born…who would later on SHAKE THE KINGDOMS OF THE ENTIRE EARTH and MANKIND.

QUITE AN AMAZING CONFUSING BIG IRONY
WHY would Creator God choose to send two tiny apostolic MESSENGERS into a world that was fraught with major danger and all out major spiritual conflict?

WHY would Father God send seeming innocuous, every day, appearing SLEEPERS who would grow up simultaneously, then appear SUDDENLY on the national Jerusalem area wide SCENE?

The APOSTOLIC WHY’S till defy all Levitical Law, Greek wisdom and basic human LOGIC,not to forget passed down generational TRADITION.

Yet, after the Apostle Paul arrives,he then explains a MYSTERY OF GOD which oversteps what is both SEEN and UNSEEN, both LOGIC and HISTORICAL TRADITION…by “using a foolish things of this world to confuse the worldly wise” I Corinthians 1:27…which the LORD still uses today.

GOD uses HIS MYSTERIES to confound our BRAINS to apply Holy Spirit inner promptings to switch over to the invisible the(discerned/perceived) FAITH REAL REALM.

And the writer likens this to “INTERRUPTING EARTHLY TIME AND SPACE” to form a NEW APOSTOLIC COLONY…which in relationship, not religious performance form, is God’s accepting nuclear FAMILY.

And while the event of the apostolic Messiah’s birth was at first known only to a select few,later this silent Spiritual PENETRATION of the local RELIGIOUS ATMOSPHERE..by would be fully known WORLD WIDE and would spawn great controversy and INTENTIONALLY unsettle many a made up dull and imperceptive accuser, religious leader and lay mind.

 

TWO HEAVEN SENT MESSENGERS:
The Setting for early pre church REVIVAL,HARVEST

FIRST JOHN THE BAPTIST ARRIVES:
“He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, ‘to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” Luke 1:17 NKJV

1. “HE will go before HIM” :John would precede,announce JESUS the MESSIAH.
2.He would be known to “have the spirit and power of Elijah” (I Kings 18-19 describes Elijah confronting the false religious temple high priests, who had been TOLERATED and ALLOWED by Israeli King Ahab and his demonic wife(daughter of a heathen Baal worshipping king) Queen Jezebel.(we don’t have time to cover that here)

BUT, we can get the PICTURE of the SPIRITUAL POWER(resembling Isaiah 11:2 all 7 of God’s Spirits) as well as foretelling the HOLY SPIRIT “dunamis power” coming to the Church in Acts.
3. The John the Baptist portion of God’s anointing would also affect RELATIONSHIPS: “turn the hearts of the fathers back to the children”

APOSTOLIC SELAH: AND while this means NATURAL generations,healing rifts of fathers and sons,mothers and daughters,the writer submits that it is also a sign of the SPIRITUAL MINISTRY GENERATIONS getting past each of their many legalistic, inherited, pet leader suspicious, dogmatic doctrines, in a new humility and James 3:17 ministry fruit,in Psalm 133,Ephesians 2:14-4 Corporate True “BRIDAL”Unity.

4. His coming “will turn the hearts of the disobedient to the wisdom of the just” (meaning first inside the Temple,but then anywhere outside, nationally,internationally) ….with the John the Baptist /Elijah Holy Spirit anointing, will have conviction, deep reconciliation,and with that salvation, as well as the return of the backslider.

5. “To make a people prepared for the Lord” (for his SOON COMING, akin to the Virgins with their oil lamps ready,as this was the First real SIGN of the COMING OF THE LORD, but in a prophetic End Time sense, the coming of the Lord to take His People to His Marriage Supper of the Lamb.)

THUS when John the Baptist entered TIME and SPACE..his coming embodied a major PARADIGM SHIFT and opened up a completely new DYNAMIC in the way God and humans would each have the opportunity to build an ongoing RELATIONSHIP:
1) apart from needing a 3rd party intermediary(being now allowed to having pray and hear God communicate back, personally, all, rather than having to go to a temple high priest, prophet as an intermediary)
2) AND after JOHN the MESSENGER announced the CHRIST,Jesus then preached, taught,healed but later paid the ultimate price for each one of us: HE died, taking all of our pain, sin for once and for ALL,and thereby shedding His own blood to take away the POWER of DEATH and eternal HELL. Following His bloody SACRIFICE, Christ rose again, setting His People FREE FOREVER from being held captive by TRADITION, LAW and accuser Pharisee LEGALISM.

FLASH BACK to Isaiah 11:3, the prophecy about the coming MESSIAH “He would delight himself in the fear of the Lord and not judge by the sight of his eyes nor make decisions based on what He heard.”
….and see v.2 for the apostolic Messiah embodying each of His FATHER’S FLAMING ETERNAL DEEPLY MYSTERIOUS, SELF GOVERNING, LEADER EMPOWERING SPIRITS.

THEREFORE: The writer submits, that JESUS CHRIST’S VICTORY over LEGALISM and SPIRITUAL DEATH, also gave back the power of personal self control,Holy Spirit led EACH BORN AGAIN PERSONS SELF GOVERNMENT..and totally freed God’s true people from the power of ministry, persona, family, individual ACCUSATION.
(read context of Revelation 12 but we can only note here V. 11
“They over came HIM (meaning the Church overcame the ACCUSER) by the blood of the Lamb, the words of their testimony and they loved not their live unto death” (I later plan to dig through this in deep complete depth)

BECAUSE His Father’s CALLING was to build and enlarge HIS FAMILY, we regard this as CRUCIAL: getting back the power to self govern each of OUR own human hearts and lips. (as later James would write, “who can tame the tongue”)

 

THUS the apostolic REVELATION 12:11 SUPERNATURAL APPLIED POWER over anger,violence,abuse,animal behavior, ANY ACCUSATION, (gossip,tale bearing) in MINISTRY, HOME and REAL LIFE would serve as an invaluable,indeed LIFE PRESERVING tool for each and ever human leader and ministry lay.

WE CAN DRAW THIS CONCLUSION
YES , the BIRTHS of the two COUSINS opened up an APPOINTED SPECIFIC ERA of EPIC PROPORTIONS…however, the MAJOR SIGNIFICANCE was not widely area wide pastorally /priestly accurately PERCEIVED or widely DISCERNED, noted, in Jesus and John’s local home town
LUKE 1:17 AND THE MISSING 400 Old Testament-New Testament YEARS.

The writer guesses that every one of these (surely) ministry high priests were proven, highly knowledgeable, and most likely extra busy, with each having been in local high priest ministry for many many years. So by now, most of them already had their own their own solidly set agenda.

And it is most likely that by this time in their experienced lives, they each had NO doubt that they needed needed NOTHING or ANYONE more!

YET, former major Pharisee Apostle Paul, who’d had his own legalistic apostolic mind “CONSCIOUSNESS RAISED”by several direct personal encounters with the LIVING LORD, eventually penned, (again, as a foolish thing,meant to confound their worldy mixed up/made up hard set finite minds)

THUS let us SELAH and fully contemplate this….and then make an first choice to REJOICE!
