James 3:17 “the wisdom from above is first of all pure, peaceable, easily entreated, full of mercy and good fruit, without partiality and without hypocrisy.”

THE “EASILY ENTREATED” BACK STORY:

During my first approximately 16-18 years..(after that I guess they matured because I don’t recall any of this after)..or perhaps I simply left for college and never exactly knew what was happening with them.

 

My very wise and dear Saved Christian mother …and her equally wise dear Saved Christian sister..my loving aunt..would get “really hurt”(=’s offended) by the well meaning other ..and it happened so many times and would last for even many seasons…and even as a young child I would often notice how each one would share..attempting to find validation and comfort ..by rehearsing and (it sounded like)complaining.. about the other to all the extended family..and thereby keep it going..even up to 2 years…maybe even a lot longer..

 

A KEY Abiding Relationship Truism..

“Many people would rather talk ABOUT you than directly TO you..as it saves THEM trouble.”

Now back on A.R.T. topic

YET I also watched and noticed that neither one would ever (not even ONE TIME).. up front confront ..and/or talk directly with the Bible teaching other..

 

It was a hurt perpetuating sort of family relationship.…yet  Minus any ONE to ONE to work it out. So I just watched… and noticed.

 

Plus (and I shudder at the very verbose memory)..each one would pen many wounded VERY LONG real letters giving their side if the sad Poor Me She Said story..Rather than calmly and courageously one to one speaking to about..

 

To me, at least, it seemed much like being “EMOTIONALLY DISHONEST” (to  avoid being UPFRONT, to avoid WORKING IT OUT and getting PASSED all of Self Pitying THAT)..by PRETENDING it was OK and BIBLE endorsed..when actually in long time hindsight, ONE or both of the Sister Parties were choosing to remain “big  HURT” (=’s OFFENDED) and it may actually be that ONE OR BOTH chose not to be “willing to up front confront”..and/or chose by omission to remain NOT EASILY ENTREATED.

 

But who truly knows…for I  was not there in person (in their SISTER t0 SISTER relationships) however,  but it has long life disquieted and often puzzled me.(especially after I noticed how many in my extended family did the exact SAME)..

And all of that  rubbed at me and really bothered me..plus even now still really does

 

HERE ARE MY OWN PERCEIVED AS VALID REASONS WHY

1. It draws the whole thing out needlessly and overly LONG (note this was prior to potentially wearying overly long emails and/or endless, complex and equally pointless GIANT texts)

 

    2. It’s a clear sign that a person very Immature and Chicken Hearted ..was my original childlike assessment (any “fear of (hu)  man brings a snare”Proverbs 29:25)

 

And even as a 6 year old child..I realized that this childlike fear of being wounded…was somewhat valid. Yey it was pitiful as it was so prolonging of this “I got hurt….”(offense) pointless and thus made a quality decision to never do like that..but to rather be direct to solve the matter peacefully and FAST
Hence I am very direct and try hard to negotiate in a calm respecting Face to Face real life matter.

 

Yet..during such REPEATED TIMES when this person has not been allowed to “one to one up front contront” and/or “to try to work things out in person” (personal, Christian Ministry) and been at first lulled yet then eventually betrayed and wearied by a Emotionally Dishonest (false front) and/or (again wearied, worn completely out) by the Adept Emotionally Avoidant…each one of whom is decidedly NOT going to reflect Holy Bible Fruit of  abiding James 3:17 “easily Entreated” so as this appears to be a NOW “ENORMOUS Body of Christ, leader Christian, Volunteer, Staff, Lay and marriage and family , doing business and ABIDING RELATIONSHIP ISSUE..I now will comment upon this Hot Topic…

 

Mean Spirited or Up Front? Reader YOU decide..

HOT TOPIC..assessing EORR mature Relationship dialogue..negotiation..resolving the real personal..marriage,business..family..and life real RELATIONSHIP issue.. VERSUS ongoing Relationship deep emotional unresolved never ending bitter intrigue..

And Choosing to in depth EXAMINE…

And I am trying to resemble all..but it requires knowing God and many times asking for His help..

“Easily Entreated”..

 

Easily Entreated generally means:

One person doesn’t have to get his/her own way..Or to Win at any cost…despite.

 

 

“Easily Entreated “ means that the Relating Person is not stubborn,willfully hardened, & won’t argue and throw a hissy fit ….if the other party won’t agree.

 

It doesn’t feel a need to PROVE it’s point by demeaning browbeating, Minister Bible Thumping. Overpowering of shaming. All of which are accusative and /may be abusive.

He,she won’t cuss or fight or cajole , withhold affection /or acceptance and/ or bully to win or to force the other into submission to what THEY may want or say.

 

A person who chooses to be respectfully “easily entreated” is not one whose preferred style “my(our) way or the highway” …as the person VALUES the other person enough to let them have a different opinion

 

And furthermore that person is willing to work things out..humbly peaceably.and to resemble Abiding in ALL James 3:17..

 

….Main Reasons for “Being Christ like humble, easily entreated, accessible for mutually respectful DIALOGUE..human negotiations possibly might be

1. TO DO IT CHRIST’S WAY
2. TO  ATTEMPT TO PRESERVE “the bonds of peace” and safeguard the Valued Relationship..(Ephesians 4 Unified Community, Psalm 133 Unity Where God Commands His Blessing, Rev Church of Philadelphia  Brotherly, Sisterly Love
3. TO GIVE A WITNESS OF  JESUS  CHRIST LIKE EORR (non demanding) LOVE ALONG WITH TRUE RESPECT for each and every human person.(even married spouse, family, fellowship, society).even one with a completely opposite point of view! (faith, politics, life styles, Bible theology, choices)

NOT BEING “EASILY ENTREATED”…JUDGING BY ASSESSING THE RELATIONSHIP FRUITS:

 

NOT BEING “easily entreated” shows that that particular person wants to remain IN complete CONTROL..and needs to DOMINATE .and or to “be assessed as WINNING”..(which i do not ever want)

 

And some may pull away..avoid..withdraw..shun..even give the Silent Treatment..to maintain Relationship CONTROL .and to WIN.

I recognize it because I have had it done to me in countless immature family,ministry and random life Real Life Relationships.

So it’s primarily used as a means to control..so hence I educate and speak directly out.

 

THE NON NEGOTIATING, NOT EASILY ENTREATED, “OUR WAY OR THE HIGHWAY”  SUB PEOPLE GROUPS

For the main impure fruit of this vast earthly subgroup may be that they accuse..avoid. try to remain in charge ..BUT never Relationship Respect by humble Negotiating and /or even keel mature dialogue.

Plus whether it is a “Sweet Little Old 100 pound fragile looking Grandma” or a top CEO or Wise Parent. Or a husband or a wife. Teenager..blessed child. ..practically ANY type of God formed Human ..of Any age and any race or gender.

 

Main Fruit?? “Accuser SELF CENTRIC”

And..historically..even forever.. I try very hard NEVER to be this way..I don’t do every thing perfectly, by any means, but at least it always TRY to remain open to work any type of thing fully OUT. But sadly, way to often I have not been ALLOWED to speak in order to calmly (abiding in all of James 3:17 pure, peaceable, easily entreated.PLUS) to work things out.

AND DUE TO THE FACT that the impure self centric untoward tawdry fruit is SO big accusing, draining and  UN CHRIST LIKE …and also SO  very often Christian lay, leader , even mini, mighty celebrity mega ministry used…..hence I shall not avoid UP FRONT CONFRONTING THIS  often “Smiling and Up Beat” however SELF CENTRIC snakey subgroup.

MINISTRY PERCEPTIVE ASSESSMENTS:

• IN TRYING TO HAVE AN EVEN KEEL, EORR, RELATIONSHIP…They are super distracting…majorly wearing and depleting…meaning especially when you are immersed in hard complex deep work. But they do not really care ..for these are(again..) SELF Centric..and it is my least favorite human being style.

 

• THEY TURN OUT TO REPEATEDLY BE “UBBORN-STAY” =s the character Fruit of the Not Easily Entreated

 

• FULLY TAKE NOTE:  wise Samuel 15:23 states,”rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft and Stubbornness is as the sin of iniquity and IDOLATRY”.(MAKING A POINT: with the avoidant controlling and very able NON willing to be “easily entreated” setting up THEMSELVES as their own Personal Idols..in a sort of “Self” Worship)’

 

SHALL YOU THE READER, now, at this point… ACCUSE DR TAVEAU OF BEING “MEAN AND NOT SWEET LIKE THE SWADDLED INFANT   CHILD??

CONTEMPLATION: A person choosing to be “easily entreated” may run the gamut from LIGHTLY being obstinate, to FULL GAIN OUT RIGHT FORCE (bully, using violence, attacking, verbal abuse, cutting the other person completely off,avoiding all communication ..which I call the SILENT TREATMENT)

NOT EXACTLY RESEMBLING “EASILY ENTREATED” ….as “By their fruits YOU will (perceiver)  know them”

JUST WONDERING “WHO ARE WE ULTIMATELY GOING TO SERVE?”

1. DUCKING AVOIDING BEING UP FRONT EORR RESPECTFULLY ONE TO ON CONFRONTED (an authority or a person NOT submitted to allow MATTHEW 18:15-17 OR Galatians 6:1)
2. POWER PLAYS..BY A PERSON OR A BUSINESS OR A CHRISTIAN MINISTRY OR ME OR YOU(using force or stopping the other person from getting JUSTICE by using their SET IN PLACE bureaucracy, staff or power and/or CUNNING to AVOID, OUTWIT, TO THWART in order to ACHIEVE GAIN AT THE OTHER’S EXPENSE)**
3. TO CONVENIENTLY MIS- APPLY (TO TWIST, PERVERT, CUNNINGLY MANIPULATE) BIBLE SCRIPTURE IN ORDER TO “GET SOMETHING OFF ANOTHER” ….TO GET ONE’S OWN ONERY WAY**
4. **While it depends upon the unique separate Christian incidence, this also may reflect “Christian WITCHCRAFT ” (SEE I SAMUEL 15:23 below) due to the sly cunning and vulture culture depraved SELFISH REPROBATE, NON CONTRITE thorny remaining Fruit.

5. A REPEAT: Samuel 15:23: “Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft and stubbornness is as the sin of iniquity and idolatry.”

 

MATURITY FACTOR: “EASILY ENTREATED” IS A TELL TALE HEART SIGN OF EITHER THE FRUIT OF CHRISTIAN CHRIST CENTEREDNESS”… VERSUS “ME CENTRIC” SELF CENTRIC CARNAL HUMAN PROUD FLESH. IT’S GIVES OFF A SIGN OF “NEEDING TO WIN, KEEP THE OTHER CONTROLLED”..OR IT MAY DISPLAY SELFLESSNESS, LAYING DOWN’S ONE LIFE FOR ANOTHER
